Exploring the Great Outdoors

Designing this logo was a personal journey for me, rooted in my deep love for the great outdoors. Inspired by my experiences camping, hiking, and mountain biking, I wanted the logo to be a true reflection of my connection to nature and my home in Northern California and the Bay Area.

The badge design is a nod to the state park and summer camp logos that have always resonated with me. These symbols evoke a sense of adventure and exploration, which I aimed to capture in a way that feels both nostalgic and timeless.

I chose earthy tones of tan and drab green for the color palette. Tan brings to mind the rugged terrain and sandy trails of my favorite hiking spots, while drab green reflects the dense forests and lush foliage that have been a backdrop to many of my outdoor adventures.

This logo isn’t just about creating a visual identity; it’s a tribute to the experiences and landscapes that have shaped who I am. It’s a badge of honor for anyone who shares a passion for exploring the great outdoors, celebrating the spirit of adventure and the beauty of nature.
