For the "Somos Googlers" event, I had the opportunity to lead the design direction for an AI tech conference dedicated to showcasing and celebrating Latino contributions in technology. This project was more than just a branding challenge—it was a chance to create a visual identity that not only aligned with Google’s brand standards but also reflected the themes of diversity, inclusion, and innovation.
From the outset, my goal was to develop a cohesive and impactful design that would resonate with the event’s mission and audience. The process involved strategic conceptualization, visual storytelling, and iterative refinement, ensuring that the final aesthetic captured the essence of both the Latino tech community and Google's forward-thinking approach.
A key part of the project was navigating the feedback process. Working closely with both the agency and the client, I integrated multiple rounds of critique, using each iteration as an opportunity to refine and elevate the design. This collaborative approach ensured that every element—from typography and color palette to digital assets and event collateral—was intentional and aligned with the event’s purpose and brand guidelines.
The final deliverables successfully translated the spirit of "Somos Googlers" into a visually compelling experience, reinforcing Google’s commitment to representation and inclusivity in AI and tech. The result was a polished, professional, and deeply meaningful visual narrative that resonated with attendees, speakers, and the broader community.
